Wealth Watchers Set to Host Annual Luncheon Celebrating Homeownership

Jacksonville, Fla. June 19

Wealth Watchers Inc. continues to celebrate National Homeownership Month. This is a time to celebrate the importance of owning a home and the impact it has on the lives of American families, the community and the nation’s economic health.

Leaders of the nonprofit will recognize those who have helped residents on the First Coast achieve what many consider the American dream, homeownership. The annual Homeownership Legacy Awards Luncheon, “Cultivating Communities: Growing Equity, Building Futures,” is set for June 21 at 11 a.m. at The River Club, 1 Independent Dr.

“This is our opportunity to pay tribute to our community partners. They work hard to ensure homeownership is a reality, especially for those who may think they could never own a home. Mortgage loan officers and realtors are essential in the homebuying process. We look forward to thanking them for all they do,” said Carrie Davis, Wealth Watchers president/chief executive officer.

According to Clyde Anderson, director of Community Lending at Ameris Bank and luncheon guest speaker, “Through its programs and services, Wealth Watchers has a tremendous positive impact on the lives of many people. I am very proud to partner with an organization that helps residents achieve the American dream of homeownership.” Wealth Watchers helps neighbors navigate through the homebuying process by providing homeownership education, workshops, counseling and more. The organization’s goals are to help people establish and maintain generational wealth.
