Wealth Watchers Inc. is a HUD-certified Housing Counseling and Community Development organization formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in December of 2001. Its mission is to build viable communities by expanding the knowledge of low-to-moderate income individuals for the purpose of understanding the importance of basic finance and accumulation of wealth. This mission is achieved by providing lending and education, neighborhood stabilization, community revitalization strategies and small business services.

Under the leadership of Carrie Davis, or president and CEO, a team of employees and volunteers journeyed to Senegal, Africa recently to foster economic stability for young Senegalese through agriculture and entrepreneurship. During the visit, the team explored the groundbreaking JeufZone Farm, founded by visionary leader Thione Niang.
JeufZone is revolutionizing African agriculture, turning Africa's potential into reality by encouraging young Africans to return to farming. It is taking action with its apprenticeship and business development programs, equipping aspiring farmers with skills and opportunities to secure Africa's food future.
Carrie and Christ Aholiatin, executive director of JeufZone, shared expertice and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration. Together, we're determined to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs and farmers to thrive!

Wealth Watchers Set to Host Symposium to Help Protect Your Future
Jacksonville, Fla. Oct. 2
Do you have a living will? Who is your power of attorney in case of an emergency? Wealth Watchers Inc. is partnering with LISC Jacksonville and Three Rivers Legal Services to host an event that will empower individuals and families with the tools and knowledge necessary to build long-term financial sustainability as well as protect their wealth for future generations. Life, Legacy and Wealth Symposium will be held on Oct. 26 fro 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Florida State College at Jacksonville (101 W. State St.).
This symposium will help participants be better prepared to achieve long-term financial health, protect their homes and secure their family's future wealth while gaining valuable connections and insights.
“It's all about securing your future and protecting your assets. Sometimes, people think they don't have anything to pass on to family members. That simply is not true,” said Carrie Davis, Wealth Watchers chief executive officer and president. "Our symposium will provide the tools needed to help build a financial future. We will have insurance agents, attorneys and others to help attendees map out their next steps."

The event is part of National Estate Planning Week (Oct. 21 - 27), an annual reminder to have or update a plan to protect your loved ones.
The Wealth Watchers Homebuyers Expo provided information about different down payment assistance programs and how to get qualified. Residents learned the ins and outs of homeownership. They had the opportunity to meet realtors, ask questions and get pre-qualified on the spot. They received counseling and much more.
