Wealth Watchers Inc.
Wealth Watchers Inc. is a HUD-certified Housing Counseling and Community Development organization formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in December of 2001. Its mission is to build viable communities by expanding the knowledge of low-to-moderate income individuals for the purpose of understanding the importance of basic finance and accumulation of wealth. This mission is achieved by providing lending and education, neighborhood stabilization, community revitalization strategies and small business services.
GLOBAL IMPACT ALERT
Under the leadership of Carrie Davis, or president and CEO, a team of employees and volunteers journeyed to Senegal, Africa recently to foster economic stability for young Senegalese through agriculture and entrepreneurship. During the visit, the team explored the groundbreaking JeufZone Farm, founded by visionary leader Thione Niang.
JeufZone is revolutionizing African agriculture, turning Africa's potential into reality by encouraging young Africans to return to farming. It is taking action with its apprenticeship and business development programs, equipping aspiring farmers with skills and opportunities to secure Africa's food future.
Carrie and Christ Aholiatin, executive director of JeufZone, shared expertice and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration. Together, we're determined to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs and farmers to thrive!
Details about the Homebuyers Expo will be released soon! Take a look at pictures from last year's event. It provided information about different down payment assistance programs and ways to get qualified. Residents learned the ins and outs of homeownership. They also had the opportunity to meet realtors, ask questions and get pre-qualified on the spot.
